Camping in natural environment is the real way to enjoy nature . You may rest in Hotels , but if you are real nature lover and want to fully enjoy nature then camping must be your choice . We have our campsite located in Barot at Thandi golai nature camp from Paradise tours & travels at Barot valley , Himachal Pradesh , India .Campsite is located beside Uhl river and easily accessible by road .
Itineraries
Day 1
Arrive at Barot and welcome by our team
On arrival to Barot camp site at evening (after 4 PM), welcome tea and snacks, Visit nearby places like Barot market, cedar forest, crop fields and Uhl river. Dinner and then bone fire, overnight stay in camps.
Day 2
Visit Barot Village and See Himachali Culture
After breakfast visit to Barot village where you can see Himalayan culture and old style houses. Then a short trek through thick forest to Jalan village then to big lakes in Barot. After that visit to trout fish farm in Barot. Back to camp, have lunch, rest for some time. Enjoy playing outdoor games like volleyball or badminton at campsite or you can visit Uhl river near our campsite. Have tea and snacks at evening. Have dinner then bone fire and overnight stay in camps.
Day 3
Badagran-Rajgundha-Plachak
After morning breakfast, we will start our trek and climb towards twin villages of Rajgundha and KukkarGundha. The trek trail is along the UHL river. Enjoying the beautiful landscapes filled with trees,hills and meadows covered with snow. Rajgundha there is an easy trek to Plachak over magnificent views and lush green landscapes along the river, which leaves the visitor enchanted. We will pitch our tents and enjoy the beauty of nature and stars in a clear blue sky, never as abundantly visible, while the gushing river nearby and its roar keeping things exciting till late night. The cold evening will turn warm with our bonfire, dinner and music. Overnight stay In camp.
Day 4
Plachak-Billing
After breakfast, we will start the down trek to Billing. This will be a scenic leisure walk from Rajgundha to Billing through beautiful forests of Oak, Rhododendrons and Pine. In Billing, enjoy a maggi or take a shot at paragliding from World's second highest paragliding site at 2400 meters as you jump down nearly 1000 meters to the landing site at Bir at 1500 meters. Enjoy delicious Tibetan and Indian Food and do some shopping or collect souvenirs. After Lunch at Bir, we will visit the famous Sherabling Monastery in Bhattu and bid a goodbye
